The mission of Red Boat Care
The goal of Red Boat Care is to create truly caregiver-centered software products. Our purpose is to dramatically improve the care management of people living at home (those who are “Aging in Place”, disabled, chronically ill, etc.). We recognize that to do that we need to provide primary caregivers (and their team members) the software to make their work easier.

The History of Red Boat Care
From usability and product design to healthcare software.
- Red Boat Care parent (White Pond Design) was incorporated in 2009 focusing on user interface design, product design and product usability.
- Red Boat Care was founded at the end of 2012 with the goal of improving medical adherence. Researching medical adherence opportunities we discovered a significant hole in homecare. We identified a product, the Medical Activity Planner (MAP), and went to work.
- May 2015 Red Boat Care launched a pilot of MAP.
Pilot completed: Exceeded expectations. - Caregivers: “like using the system”.
- Product ran 24/7 during 6-month pilot period with 100% uptime.
- 14 pilot users.
- June 2016 Red Boat Care releases complimentary version of its MAP software.
- Free basic subscription.
- Available online.
- Premium subscription for $9.95/month.
- November 2016 Red Boat Care becomes available on laptops, tablets and smartphones.
- September 2017 Red Boat Care announces the release of its unified easier to use mobile user interface. Better navigation and screen design.
- October 2018 Red Boat Care pivots to address personal health care.
- November 2018 Red Boat Care was sad to lose a founder and friend, John Nitzshe, VP of Engineering. His technical contribution, wisdom, and guidance is missed daily.
- April 2019 Red Boat Care is exploring expansion options to leverage its stable product.
